Finding Ocean Organics was a game changer for me. This blog in itself is to help myself and others with plant based eating convenience. Eating out can be a real challenge following a plant based diet. Sure you can ask for no cheese or this or that on the side, but once you boil it down, you just paid $15 for a bowl of veggies. So finding Ocean Organics, where it is 100% vegan, plant based food, my plant based world got just little bit bigger and my struggle became that much easier.
Now if I told you I found a new food place, with some good choices, you’d be like, “eh, cool, thanks.” But when I tell you this place is the real deal, I am not lying. The cheese is fresh cashew cheese, the dressing, mayo, ketchup, and ice cream, is completely plant based. Seriously anything on this menu is a safe choice. But not only is it a safe choice, it’s a DELICIOUS choice!! And its not astronomically expensive either $$

So I found this hidden treasure by a google search that lead me to Happy Cow https://www.happycow.net which lead me to Ocean organics. OO has 3 locations, one right in my town, “oh how exciting!” but its hours are 9am-5pm, “not so exciting”. So, basically, it was only going to be a weekend treat for me since I work 9-5.  The Toms River location has the staple menu items on the website, juices, specials, and to go premade snacks like hemp cookies, breakfast oats, acai bowls, etc. Then I started following them on Instagram and see that they have another location in Jackson with hours till 7pm on the weekday and 8pm on weekends, and wait for it…. THEY HAVE ICE CREAM!!! And I am not talking agarbage fake dairy ice cream, I’m talking clean, made in house, fresh, crazy flavored ice cream, like Spirulina and Activated Charcoal ice cream and shakes. They also have an entire burger menu that the TR location does not have. This has become my, I-don’t-feel-like-cooking-tonight, go to! There is also a 3rd location in Seaside as well, but I have not visited that location yet, but I’ll be sure to hitting up this stop over the summer.

If I were giving out stars, it’d get 5 stars!!⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I got talking to the head chef on one of my trips there and found that they just got signed to open a location in Asbury! Keep your Eyes peeled!!
