So this post is all about Party in My Plants. While I have a lot to say about this Brand (podcast/you tube series/blog), I really think the best thing I can do to do my do diligence for Talia Pollack is to just give you the link to her website, podcast, and You Tube page.
I am a little partial to Talia and Party in my Plants because it was one of the first podcasts I found when I went plant based and she exactly what I was looking for. A fun and funny 30-something living the plant based life. She also had guest on who REALLY changed my opinion and view point of eating and food. You can check out my thoughts bout those by clicking here.
Her you tube videos are great. With her slogan being, "I take the HELL out of HEALthy living", the next statement might be obvioous, but the number one best thing about her videos and recipes, are that THEY ARE SO EASY TO FOLLOW. Seriously, simple ingredients, minimal prep, no crazy hardware required. She has also broken her playlists down between, what I eat in a day, must haves, seasonal options, and WHENsday recipes. WHENsday recipes are recipes to make WHEN… These run the gamut. Recipes to make WHEN your going on a road trip, WHEN your hosting a holiday party, WHEN your short on time for food prep. The first time I watched her videos I started writing the recipes down, then I realized, “umm duh, the videos aren’t going anywhere, just go to them when your ready”. I will admit occasionally I skip through her intros in her videos and jump right to the recipes. (Sorry Talia).
Now without throwing shade, I will also admit, I don’t think Talia is the end-all be-all best thing ever. And occasionally she’ll make some comments I can’t agree with or I think are inappropes, but overall, she is definitely worth checking out and I am grateful I found her.
I hope this helps,
Turnip the Beet and Jam
